city of heroes: fire/thermal ?

is that a good power set? I see alot of trollers fire/kin and I feel its over used way too much, and what’s your favorite troller power set?

Illusion/ Empathy.

This was my first and favorite character.. and yes, I have a fire kin as well.

Now she’ s a 50, with my phantom and PA (phantom army), scrappers need not apply. don’t need the help.

it’s hard going to 50 with that powerset, but once you are there, you can use the character to shepard lower leveled Supergroup members in all different ways.

My favorite is to get into mission as a team member, and then QUIT in mission. I am now inside the mission and I can heal the entire lowbie team without fear of a level 10 hellion kicking my 50 butt. (no loss of XP for the other members after a few minutes)

The Blind (I can’t remember the name- the AOE blind, not single target) doesn’t actually cause damage, but holds enemies for your sheep (the player you are sheparding) to damage without fear of Xp loss. Also, the empathy powers are used the most.

She’s a good farming support. She can mentor someone you are power leveling because her empathy is used at a slight distance.. all they have to do is follow.. and she can support the main damage dealer with empathy and phantoms… and your mentored character is not in the middle of the fight with nothing but “brawl”.

I REALLY love duel boxing with my Fire kin on one account and my Illusion/ emp on the other.

My Fire kin blows END like crazy, but my empathy on the other character powers keep her full up.

between the fire imps and the PA, I have so much support it’s tooooo easy.
